How do we get there from here? I have been totally seduced by this ships wheel. In my mind, it likely traveled many an adventure, going to many parts unknown. I am a lover of stories where the ship sails off into the sunrise. I do have my own bend on all the stories, as they all change based on my perspective. Just as the voyage can be changed by setting a new course, our story can change according to the plan we make, the roads we travel, the thoughts we think. Positive thinker that I am, can you imagine the places that I can go in my mind? That is exactly why the most important part of any journey is setting a course.
The ships wheel has a special significance for me. 8 A's come together in the center. Artful and Acknowledgment are two of the eight. I set a course 8 years ago that has taken me exactly where I wanted to go. I had no idea that I would visit the many places I have been since. I am not only referring to the physical destination travel that I have enjoyed with my husband during this time. I am also referencing the sobriety that has set the course for a life I could not even comprehend.
I am currently making all kinds of future plans. Making plans, setting a course, star-gazing to the next dream level and for navigational support. There is a central point where it all starts before the journey can proceed. The adventure lies ahead.
