"The Who of You" by Janet L Arnold
This is the base story of all has led up to this point in my life. It is my experience, strength and hope for those who are recovering from a stroke (TIA), those who are in recovery (alcohol) and if adoption is part of the fabric of your life. It is an unedited edition that was necessary to liberate the forgiveness that I needed to grow forward and move on.
Also now available in iTunes Search by title "The Who of You" or author Janet L Arnold

Riveting Read
This book compels the mind to consider the horrible things humanity is capable of. It also shows what the human mind is capable of.
"I shall never forget how I was roused one night by the groans of fellow prisoner, who threw himself about in his sleep, obviously having a horrible nightmare. Since I had always been especially sorry for people who suffered from fearful dreams or deliria, I wanted to wake the poor man. Suddenly I drew back the hand which was ready to shake him, frightened at the thing I was about to do. At the moment I became intensely conscious of the fact that no dream, no matter how horrible, could be as bad as the reality of the camp which surrounded us, and to which I was about to recall him."
This speaks to the suffering that can only be imagined in my mind. Truly blessed to not have to endure anything remotely similar, I am so grateful to JB Glossinger for recommending this book on MorningCoach.com

Make room for a modern-day wisdom teacher
This book has been coming into my life for a long time. Lauren McLaughlin writes a novel with profound spiritual grounding that lights up in the presence of modern day people, places and things. A delightful three chapter offering sealed the deal. I met the main characters and fell head-long for the story I do not want to end. Such simplicity drawn from what we make as complex matters of our heart that are mere moments, to be used to our good and the good of others.
These characters could be any of us. I was moved to a physical burst of laughter almost waking a sleeping husband when on page 64, Tony says,"So, to make a long story short--".
"As if that day will ever come," Frankie interjected, but don't let me interupt you."
It still cracks me up. I do love the weave of love that is coming through in the words of this story. Possibility, purpose, promise...all my favorite 'P' words.
Consider adding "Go to ELF!" by Lauren McLaughlin to your library. No. You cannot borrow mine. I have a feeling mine will be well worn, highlighted, dog-eared and treasured.
