First thoughts of the day
I have come to realize that the first thoughts of my day are the guide posts to the rest of my day when I take charge of them. At least for a few moments. I feel empowered when I take control of something. I sit is certain spot, in a certain way, with a specific intention that I will 'be still and know'. I can do it with or without guidance now. I found this video helpful and post it for reference only, hoping that you get value from taking a few minutes just for yourself today. Just for your mind. Only for your thoughts. Meditation helps me keep my mind focused.

Have pen and paper handy when you mediate to record the thoughts that arrive after your session ends. These are power thoughts or deep desires that are calling out for your attention. With a fresh mind, allow them in and tend to them.
