Every day in 2014 that is not an ordinary holiday in the traditional sense, I am encouraging you to look at a word prompt (occasionally a two-word and rarely a three-word phrase) on the Awaken Calendar from the AWAKEN perspective. In that context, it is my hope that the words reveal to you a new layer of life not yet noticed that you find richer and more vibrant. As such, some of the prompts will evoke new responses, reactions and revelations that would pass by un-noticed, if not encountered in a heightened awareness. Then, if you are moved to do so, journal your remarks in the 2014 Awaken Calendar Journal. I recommend the daily journal practice, and in reality, there are going to be days that a prompt returns empty. On the days when the newness shows up and you become engaged in a whole new awareness of the prompted suggestion, journal away to your heart's content. On the inside back page of the journal, index dates that are remarkable with your own one, two, or three-word prompt that you can return to for more reflection and association as you explore using your journal for potential intellectual property. Begin to think about unlocking the legacy you will leave here. Each month you will find a beautiful landscape chosen for it's 'sleepy' or pre-awaken state. I found inspirational quotes for each month that you can meditate on for reflection also.
